A 25-year-old pregnant woman was killed in celebratory firing during a wedding in Punjab's Bathinda on Saturday evening, police has said. The woman, identified as Kulwinder Kaur, was shot in her stomach by a man and died on the spot. The incident happened in Maur Mandi town.
Police are looking for a friend of the groom, identified as Billa who fled after the incident. A case of murder has been registered against him.
