Two weeks after the communal comments by the now-suspended BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma on Prophet Muhammad, violence continues to be reported across the states of Uttar Pradesh, Ranchi and West Bengal. 237 arrests have been made after Friday violence and 13 police cases have been registered in UP. In Bengal, section 144 has been imposed.
