Despite massive nutrition-focused programs, India rates a disastrous 100 among 119 countries in the 2017 Global Hunger Index. Even neighboring countries like Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka are ranked higher than India, which means while we are talking of becoming a great global power, millions of Indians are being deprived of food every day.
