While discussing possible coalitions ahead of the national election in 2024, Samajwadi Party spokesperson Ghanshyam Tiwari says, "Allying with the BJP is like walking into your deathbed. It is clear that if you ally with BJP, they will devour your party." On the Congress's Bharat Jodo Yatra, Mr Tiwari said even though it is the right thing to do in spirit, the Samajwadi Party doesn't see the yatra as a platform for alliance-building.
