AIIMS Director Dr Randeep Guleria tells NDTV that the new strain of coronavirus found in Maharashtra could be more transmissible. Clusters appear when there is a super-spreading event or strain and people don't maintain Covid-appropriate behaviour, he said, adding the virus is going to mutate. He also said that the perception of herd immunity in India is a myth as for it to be achieved, close to 80 percent of people need to have antibodies.
