India's COVID-19 Vaccine Rollout: How The Vaccine Will Reach Every Citizen?

The massive inoculation drive against COVID-19 was kickstarted in the country by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on January 16 after India's drug regulator approved two coronavirus vaccines - Oxford-AstraZeneca's Covishield which is being manufactured by Serum Institute of India and Bharat Biotech's Covaxin for emergency use. A total of 3,006 session sites across all states and Union Territories have been selected for the drive with a target of vaccinating 100 frontline and healthcare workers per day in the first phase. Here is how the country's vaccine programme is being rollout and by when will every citizen of the country get a chance to be immunised against coronavirus.
