Food Must Unite Us, Not Divide, Says Sanjeev Kapoor On Khichdi Record

After news reports said that it could be made the national dish at the upcoming 'World Food India' event, the humble Khichdi trended on social media all day. Now, minster Harsimrat Kaur, whose ministry is organising the event, has dismissed this saying there were no such plans but they are attempting to create a world record and promote khichdi as a global food. Chef Sanjeev Kapoor, who will be attempting to create a World Record by cooking 800 kg of Khichdi on November 4, says there should be no politics over food and the khichdi recipe will be a unifier.
