Grim news again from the Diamond Princess cruise ship. 44 more people have been declared corona positive on the luxury cruise ship docked at Yokohoma. Yesterday, two Indian crew members were declared positive and today the number has gone up. Sonali Thakkar, the 24 year old Mumbai woman who is security staff on board but in isolation since February 10 because of a mild fever, issued a fresh appeal to the government to get the unaffected Indians off the ship, before it is too late. Sonali, who spoke to NDTV today, said her family was concerned about misinformation in the public domain about her health. "I am well. I have been tested for coronavirus but I am not positive and I want to get off the ship," she said.
