Former Finance Minister Yashwant Sinha has criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi over what he claimed was the prime minister's silence on the Rafale deal controversy. Mr Sinha said that since the warplane deal was signed between the president of France and the prime minister of India, and if the former French president who was a party to the deal is making a statement, that statement can be challenged only by PM Modi.
