It seems at least someone's happy with higher fuel prices. As the difference in running costs over conventional two wheelers increases, electric bikes are gaining ground with buyers. "We are very happy whenever there is a fuel hike. Each fuel hike means more sales for us," says Ganesh Mahalingam, MD, Ultra Motors, one of the makers of electric bikes.
