Joining the Banega Swachh India Cleanathon, Kiran Bedi, Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry urges public servants, especially municipal commissioners to drive bikes and walk the dirty streets so they witness the real problem of littered waste. Kiran Bedi also appealed to implement #Mere10Guz to ensure clean households and eliminate the threats of diseases like dengue, which has seen a 700 percent increase in Puducherry over the last year. Swachhta and Swasthta go together, as cleanliness is directly associated with good health, she added.
