Nawazuddin Siddiqui has been nominated in the Best Actor category for his role in Serious Men, a satirical drama film based on Manu Joseph's book of the same name, at the International Emmy Awards this year. The actor, in a conversation with NDTV's Rohit Khilnani in New York, spoke about this prestigious nomination and also explained his personal experiences dealing with the caste system in India helped him perform in the film. Serious Men, which premiered on Netflix, is directed by Sudhir Mishra.
