Prior to Britain colonizing India, 60 per cent of the global supply of clothing was exported from India. That number has dipped drastically over the decades. With China presently dominating global manufacturing, India's exports are gradually on the rise. According to Gautam Singhania, chief of the Raymond group, people are seeing benefits in buying from India over China.
