Now that the Left has dumped the Congress in Delhi, will the Congress hit back by putting infrastructure and industrial projects in West Bengal on the back burner? Left quarters in Kolkata are worried as several plans, including the chemical hub that was moved from Nandigram to Nayachar, are awaiting the Centre's nod. The Left is hoping the UPA will not put the squeeze on Bengal, keeping future political alignments in mind.
