Wheat MSP will not be increased: Pawar

The government is facing a tough time meeting its wheat procurement target of 15 million tonnes, as private players lure the farmers with better prices for their produce. With farmers not willing to oblige the government at the current minimum suport price of Rs 1000 rupees per quintal, the Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar is not ruling out imports.
