Fiscal consolidation efforts realistic: Moody’s

Moody's considers the government's target of 4.8% fiscal deficit a realistic one, says Atsi Sheth of Moody's Investor Service. She says while the government may slip on its tax revenue targets and its subsidy targets for the year, it may be able to cushion it using a cut in capital expenditure. However, Moody's considers growth estimates for the year too optimistic.
