No wonder the biggest collection centre in the highest income tax paying city or Mumbai is overcrowded. The data clearly shows that there are many last minute tax payers. IT department on an average collects around 5,000 forms during this season, but it has collected 50,000 forms on Tuesday and expects to collect 75,000 on Wednesday.
