Abinash Verma, director general of Indian Sugar Mills Association (ISMA), says he expects the rally in sugar prices to continue for 12 to 18 months. But he does not expect the price rally to continue very long unlike previous cycles. The production might be back to normal in 2017-18 season, if there is good rainfall, he added.
