Steel industry under pressure from weak rupee

The steel industry sees an extended focus as the weakened Rupee continues to put pressure on iron ore imports and also the situation worsens as low domestic demand looms over the industry. Seshagiri Rao, joint MD and group CFO of JSW Steel, speaks about its effect on the stock. Mr Rao also mentions the company's plant currently functioning at 80 per cent capacity, and that the domestic prices may see further reduction.
