Petroleum minister Jaipal Reddy on Friday said the oil sector faced a double disaster of falling rupee and rising crude oil price, adding that government was aware of the problems that the petrol price hike has caused for the common man. He ruled out any definitive action. The minister also called on all state governments to cut local taxes, adding that the Central government had already done so.
