Stalemate continues in Singur, panel inspects project site

Singur is still in a state of stalemate. A four-member committee formed to discuss solution to compensate farmers in West Bengal visited Singur on Wednesday. Even as the land controversy is raising question marks over other investments in West Bengal, Trinamool Supremo Mamata Banerjee's representatives to the land committee are still demanding 300 acres from the Tata project site.
