Indian market indices, both Sensex and Nifty, declined over 1.5% each on Friday. The primary trigger for the fall in markets is believed to be the Donald Trump administration's recent decision to impose the import tariffs, causing the onset of trade war globally. The fall is also being attributed to a whiff of political instability in India after the NDA ally TDP (Telugu Desam Party) decided to pull out of the national alliance.
