The rural banking is the flavor of the season and the country’s largest bank State Bank of India (SBI) is making sure it remains ahead of the game. SBI has kicked off the year by setting aggressive targets for its rural banking division nearly doubling its reach and the amount it plans to lend out through rural credit this year.
