The road sector continues to face challenges say top CEOs from the sector. Sudhir Hoshing, CEO of the road division at Reliance Infrastructure, says that while their projects are not facing financial concerns, collections on operational projects have been slow. He adds a lot of smaller projects are up for sale, many of which are not viable. Meanwhile, Kishore Kumar Mohanty, MD of Gammon Infra adds that new projects coming up for bidding are less attractive and until issues of land acquisition and environmental clearance are not addressed, the sector will continue to face challenges.
