Indian retailers in the premium segment are forced to change strategy, thanks to the tough time that some of the international players are posing. With the growing number of international brands entering the Indian market, some of the Indian retailers are now looking to diversify their portfolio with budget brands. Analysts say that could be because some Indian retailers have started to feel they might not be able to catch up with the quality of the global players.
