Harry Dhaul, director general at Independent Power Producers Association of India told NDTV that power generation in November has jumped to a 5 year high thanks largely to a base effect. But in a power starved country like India, power generation sector is unlikely to meet its capacity expansion targets till 2019; until the government lets free markets drive tariffs and coal linkages.
