Former Chief Economic Adviser Arvind Subramanian spoke to NDTV's Dr Prannoy Roy about the structural factors when exports and investments collapsed. Mr Subramanian said that oil price gave a boost to revenues and consumption. He further added that oil prices 'propped up, shored it up', and prevented the economy from becoming much worse than it otherwise would have been.
