On the weak October IIP data, Jay Shankar, Chief Economist - Director, Religare Capital Markets says the numbers are on expected lines while Saugata Bhattacharya, Economist, Axis Bank believes that the slowdown is also result of negative consumer sentiments, adding that this would be the tail end of the slowdown. Jay Shankar believes that we could look at a 5 per cent growth in the month of November.
