The blasts in Mumbai have triggered a fresh pocket of vulnerability in India's Silicon Valley. A Union Home Ministry advisory on July 18 to the DGP and the Chief secretary of Karnataka warns that the Lashkar-e-Taiba could be targeting the IT industry in Bangalore and that a fresh survey ought to be undertaken to identify possible targets and ensure that full proof security is provided to them.
