Govt proposes hike in fuel prices

A hike in fuel prices looks imminent with the Petroleum Ministry making a strong case for it on Wednesday. The ministry is seeking a hike of Rs 5 in petrol, diesel and kerosene prices. It has also favoured a Rs 50 per cylinder hike in LPG prices.
