Inflation that refuses to go away and a new political partner for the government is prompting fears that the proposed 0.017 per cent tax on futures trading in commodities may now come into effect. Already saddled with a ban on trading in various commodities, commodity traders are worried that the CTT could deliver the final blow to volumes.
