Fund shortage unlikely to affect infrastructure sector: Gajendra Haldea

The infrastructure financing committee members have warned that it will be a tough task for the government to attract investments of $1 trillion for developing infrastructure, given the volatile economic climate. Gajendra Haldea, Advisor to the Deputy Chairman of the Planning Commission told NDTV that fund shortage is unlikely to affect the infrastructure sector. "Even the impact of market sentiments on the sector is minimal. We are seeing robust competition for road projects," he added.
