Foreign brands eyeing Indian skincare market

Skincare is one of the fastest growing segments in the beauty market at Rs 2000 crore in India and growing at 20-25 per cent in the premium segment and 10-15 per cent in the mass-market segment per annum. It is no wonder that international players like Clarins, Shisheido and L'Oreal have been capitalising and eating into the market. Skincare, incidentally no longer means cold and fairness creams.
