Speaking to NDTV, Ravi Uppal, chief executive officer and managing director at Jindal Steel & Power, said bids for the coal mines which, have been cancelled are linked to 3500 MW of installed power capacity. If we don't get any coal from these mines then it is going to hurt the installed capacity, he added.
