At Davos, top women leaders seek more than lip service

Top women leaders, including IMF chief Christine Lagarde and Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg, today, at the World Economic Forum in Davos, demanded more than "lip-service" in bringing women to economic decision-making roles and wanted an environment where they are not denied their rightful place. They were speaking at a debate on closing gender gaps at the highest level of economic participation with Harvard University president, Drew Gilpin Faust, Heidrick and Struggles CEO, Kevin Kelly, Olayan Financing Company CEO Lubna S Olayan and Viviane Reding from the European Commission, chaired by Herminia Ibarra from the INSEAD business school.
