We review the diesel variant of the new generation Mercedes-Benz C-Class to find if this avatar of the baby S-Class can deliver in the Indian market. The new C220 CDI model comes fully loaded with features and will be imported for starters. We drive and find out if the diesel engine, which is not the most powerful diesel from the global C-Class lineup, is ample enough to excite the Indian car buyer.
