Ford India has launched the new Ford Freestyle cross-hatchback in India priced from Rs 5.09-6.94 lakh for the petrol variants and Rs 6.09-7.89 lakh for the diesel. The Ford Freestyle gets a new petrol engine from the 'Dragon' family along with a diesel engine from the EcoSport. Both the petrol and diesel get a 5-speed manual gearbox with no automatic gearbox yet. In terms of safety, the Ford Freestyle gets traction control, ABS, and airbags with the top spec version getting 6 airbags for added safety.
