Planning to travel or work abroad? You'll need a Police Clearance Certificate to verify all the claims made in the application. Here's a guide on how to get your PCC.
Go the Passport Seva website, log in or register, and choose "Apply for Police Clearance Certificate". Fill in your details and purpose of application.

Pay Rs 500 online via card, net banking or UPI. Then, schedule an appointment at your nearest Passport Seva Kendra or Post Office Passport Seva Kendra.
Carry your passport, address proof and appointment receipt. Your photo, biometrics and documents will be verified there.
Use your file number and date of birth on the Passport Seva portal to track progress. You'll get SMS updates at each stage of the process.
Once approved, download your PCC from the website or collect it from the PSK. The document can be used for visa, job or migration purposes.
