India's busiest airports have been in chaos for days as IndiGo, the country's largest airline, grapples with its worst-ever operational meltdown. December 6 marks the fifth consecutive day of mass flight cancellations and delays, leaving thousands of passengers stranded and fares soaring. The disruption is caused due to severe crew shortage triggered by new Flight Duty Time Limitation (FDTL) norms, along with winter fog, technical glitches, and high passenger volumes. Metro hubs like Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, and Hyderabad remain the hardest hit, with hundreds of flights grounded daily.

The clip, recorded at the Bengaluru Airport, shows the ground staff serving snacks and beverages to stranded passengers. The side note read, "After 400 plus flights cancelled, but IndiGo not providing any service or sorry. This is from Bengaluru airport. Bengaluru airport staff are offering water, snacks, tea or coffee to passengers who were suffering from inconvenience." Meanwhile, the text layout said, “Hats off to Bengaluru airport staff.”
