Packaging company Uflex on Wednesday reported an 11.62 per cent increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 86.16 crore for the fiscal first quarter that ended on June 30.

Uflex on Wednesday reported an 18.97 per cent rise in consolidated net profit at Rs 76.18 crore for the quarter ended June 2015, on account of increasing demand for innovative solutions.

Its net sales were Rs 1,444.68 crore during the quarter under review, marginally up 1.13 per cent, as against Rs 1,428.45 crore in 2013-14.

Flexible packaging company Uflex Ltd on Tuesday reported a 47.22 per cent increase in net profit at Rs 53 crore for the third quarter that ended in December 2013, on account of global capacity expansion and increased uptake of packaging solutions.

Company's consolidated net sales increased to Rs 1,475.01 crore in the July-September 2013 quarter compared to Rs 1,221.92 crore in the same period a year ago due to capacity expansion by the company at its manufacturing facilities in Poland and Kentucky over the last year.
