Qualcomm is reportedly working with top telcos and OEMs to launch a 5G-enabled smartphone for the Indian market. Qualcomm says that it is working with telcos and OEMs to bring this new entry-level 5G smartphone to India by the end of this year. The smartphone is said to be priced under $99 (roughly Rs. 8,200).

Jio Bharat B2 may launch in India soon. Although the company has not confirmed the handset, the phone was reportedly spotted on a certification site. Not much is known about the purported feature phone. The moniker is also being speculated. It is expected to come with upgrades over the Jio Bharat B1 which was unveiled in October 2023.

Jio has introduced two new AirFiber plans in India. Both are add-on plans which can be used over existing plans. One Rs. 401 Data Booster Pack was already available. Now the company has launched Rs. 101 and Rs. 251 Data Booster Packs. These additional plans are particularly helpful for users who have sizable data usage.
