Shares of NBCC gained as much as 3 per cent on Wednesday after the state-owned company bagged orders worth Rs 440 crore from ESIC, Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India.

State-owned construction firm NBCC on Monday said it bagged projects worth Rs 614.83 crore last month.

NBCC has secured some big ticket orders including Rs 2,149-crore order from the Indian Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) for redevelopment of exhibition venue at Pragati Maidan and Rs 5,828 crore redevelopment project from AIIMS.

Shares of NBCC surged as much as 1.97 per cent in nan otherwise weak market to touch a high of Rs 1,027 after the company announced it has received an order from IIT Mandi worth Rs 294.78 crores.

Shares of National Buildings Construction Corporation (NBCC) gained as much as 2.2 per cent to hit high of Rs 1,019 after the company said that it received an order worth Rs 328 crore from Nabinagar Power Generating Company.

In a BSE filing, NBCC said that "the company has secured total business amounting Rs 276.96 crore (approx) from various clients in the month of September, 2015".

NBCC posted a 31.5 per cent increase in its consolidated net profit at Rs 44.08 crore for the quarter ended June 30, as against Rs 33.52 crore in the year-ago period.

Last month, NBCC signed an agreement to redevelop the Indian Institute of Public Administration's campus for Rs 435 crore.

National Buildings Construction Corporation (NBCC) on Friday said it has bagged an order from the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) for consultancy and marketing of a project in 25 acres of land at Trilokpuri in the national capital.

In a filing to exchanges, NBCC said it has bagged Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) works worth Rs 1,237 crore in Odisha and the company will sign an agreement with the Rural Development Ministry on January 12 for this.
