The Congress Monday termed the Election Commission's directive to the I-T Department on raids carried out during poll time as "too little, too late" and hoped it will take decisive action against "prejudiced officers" of I-T and Enforcement Directorate trying to "bulldoze and intimidate" political opponents.

Just before she walked in for a 5 pm appointment with Congress president Sonia Gandhi, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee sent a warm tweet of support to Bihar politician Lalu Yadav, accused of getting 1,000 crore from proxy land deals by Income Tax officials, who searched almost 20 locations in Delhi and Gurgaon today to collect evidence.
