The 82nd Geneva Motor Show is seeing more than 260 exhibitors and more than 180 world and European premieres. The Motor Show will open its doors to public from 8th to the 18th of March presenting more than 260 exhibitors and more than 180 world and European premieres. We take a look at some of the cars and concepts that will draw the crowds.

The Philippe Starck design electro car was unveiled at a March 5 preview at the 82nd Geneva International Motor Show. The exhibition will open its doors to the public beginning 8 March through 18 March.

In that time, more than 260 exhibitors will display their products and services, accompanied by more than 180 world and European premieres.

Wolfgang Durheimer, CEO of Bugatti, introduces the new Veyron Vitesse at the Geneva International Motor Show in Switzerland. Named for French racer Pierre Veyron, this range of cars is among the fastest in the world. They also typically cost in the $1 million range.

Tata Motors has unveiled an upgraded version of its car Pixel, called the Megapixel.

Tata Megapixel is a new four-seater city-smart global range extended electric vehicle (REEV) concept.

The Giugiaro seen during a preview of Volkswagen at the 82nd Geneva International Motor Show. Italdesign Giugiaro is an auto engineering and design firm in Italy that has been working with Volkswagen for decades. It recently sold a majority stake to VW's subsidiary Lamborghini Holdings.

The Boxster has now reached almost classic status, from its former almost cult-like following, and continues to be a favourite among the rich and famous who also wanted to be fast and furious.

Wolfgang Schreiber of Volkswagen Commercial Cars shows a new concept car during a preview by the Volkswagen Group. Automakers typically use motor shows such as this to unveil designers' ideas and vision of what a car should, or could, be like. Of course, many concept cars remain just that because producing them commercially would be just unviable.
