Cards Against Humanity is, in its own words, a "party game for horrible people," so why is it suddenly trying to "save" America? On Tuesday, the company announced an initiative called "Cards Against Humanity Saves America," intended to "stop" US President Donald Trump from building a wall along the US-Mexican border. The company says it bought a plot of land on the border and now wants to make it as hard and costly as possible for the wall to be constructed.

"We've purchased a plot of vacant land on the border and retained a law firm specializing in eminent domain to make it as time-consuming and expensive as possible for the wall to get built," the company says.

As Bustle explains, if the wall is to be built, a lot of private land will have to be confiscated. The lawyers hired by Cards Against Humanity will, presumably, study and argue against the American government's reasons for taking a landowner's private land.

But what exactly is Cards Against Humanity saving America from? According to its website: "Injustice, lies, racism, the whole enchilada."

As part of a promotion ahead of the holidays, the company also asks US-residents to send them $15 in return for six surprises in the mail that will "save America." One of those surprises is the map of the border land just acquired.

"If you voted for Trump," the company warns, "you might want to sit this one out."

The company's promotional stunt has raised more than a few eyebrows on Twitter:

But it's making many who've branded the move "iconic" smile:

A wall along the US-Mexico border has been a top priority project for the US President. Mr Trump has said he wants to build an "impenetrable, physical, tall, powerful, beautiful, southern border wall" between the US and Mexico - and he wants Mexico to pay for it.Click for more trending news
