It was a terrifying moment when an Asiana Airlines plane collided with a Turkish Airlines jet at Turkey's Istanbul Ataturk Airport on May 13. A video of the incident shows the moment an Asiana plane, which was carrying over 200 passengers, hit a stationary Turkey Airline aircraft and sliced off its vertical stabilizer. The collision also led to a fire, reports Channel News Asia. Fortunately, nobody was hurt in the incident, though both the aircrafts have suffered damage.

Flight Global reports that the right wing of the Asiana plane, travelling to Incheon, hit the tail of the Turkish Airlines plane which was parked at its gate. It also added that Turkish Airlines acknowledged the accident in a statement, and said that there were no injuries to passengers and crew.
