RRB Group D result 2018: RRB Group D result will be released anytime soon on the official websites affiliated with the RRBs which had announced vacancies for Level 1 posts in February 2018. RRB Group D answer key for the recruitment exam held from September to December last year was released by Railway Recruitment Board or RRB in January. An official statement has confirmed that the RRB Group D result will be released on March 4 by 3 pm. RRBs of Indian Railways kicked off the CBT or Computer-Based Test for the recruitment for more than 60,000 RRB Group D posts on September 17 last year. This RRB Group D recruitment examinations was held in various shifts in different centres across the country till December 17.
The candidates will be able to access the RRB Group D result after entering their registration details.

According to Indian Railways, an estimated 3 to 4 lakh candidates appeared for the examination every day and the average attendance in the exam was 60%.
The exams were conducted in various shifts in exam centres spread across the country.
RRBs are currently engaged in the recruitment process of more than 1.2 lakh posts in various departments.
Before this ongoing exam for Level- 1 or Group D posts, Railway Recruitment Boards have also completed first stage CBT for 47.56 lakh candidates for ALP and Technician posts from August 9 to September 4, 2018. The results for this RRB ALP recruitment was released last month.

October 29, 2018:
The RRB Group D exam is being organised at over 400 centers across the country and so far over 1 Crore candidates have appeared for the Level 1 post examination, said a statement from Indian Railways today. An estimated 3 to 4 lakh candidates are appearing for the examination every day and the average attendance in the exam is 60%. Overall, 1.89 crore candidates are to sit for the Group D CBT which will conclude on December 17. The recruitment exam is being held for 62907 vacancies of Level- 1 posts. The exam is being completed within 51 days of commencement.
October 20, 2018:
RRBs have released the RRB Group D exam details for candidates whose CBT or Computer-Based Test have been scheduled till December 17, 2018.
October 18, 2018:
An official statement from RRBs said details of RRB Group D examination scheduled from October 29 will be released on October 19, 2018.
October 10, 2018:
"Due to the forecast of severe cyclone named TITLI in Odisha on 11th & 12th October 2018, the RRB exams will not be held in any of the centres under the jurisdiction of Railway Recruitment Board /Bhubaneswar i.e. at Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Sambalpur, Khurda & Berhamapur cities on the above dates. "Candidates scheduled to appear in the exams on the above dates will be rescheduled and the revised exam city and date intimation will be advised through the registered mobile number and email of the candidates," said a statement posted on the official website of RRB Bhubaneswar.

According to an update available on the official website of RRBs, the exam city and sate information is live for candidates scheduled till October 26, 2018. The update also said the next schedule of exam city and date intimation for the exam starting from October 29, 2018 will be made live on October 18, 2018.

For RRB Group D first stage CBT candidates must carry a photo ID proof with them along with the printout of the hall ticket.

The Exam City and Date information is live for candidates scheduled from September 17, 2018 to October 16, 2018. According to a notification posted on the official website, for all remaining candidates the details will be live from October 5, 2018 onwards.

"After some videos emerged in social media claiming that RRB Group D examinations are being held in Bhagalpur without invigilators, the Railway Recruitment Board, the official recruitment agency conducting examinations for Indian Railways jobs notified that the said videos are not of its exams. RRBs make Group D admit card download link active again after the websites faced several technical glitches when it released the admit card details.

Many candidates whose Group D admit cards have been released could not download them as the link provided on the websites stopped responding. Later all the candidates having CBT for Level 1 posts on 18/09/2018, 19/09/2018 and 20/09/2018, who could not download e-call letter, have been sent SMS with centre details and an email with the link to download and print their e-call letter.
