Jaipur:
The Central jail in Jaipur may soon be relocated to the land reserved for it by the Jaipur Development Authority in Bagrana area on Agra road, an official said today.
The proposal to reserve 95 bigha land was cleared in a JDA meeting yesterday and it was also decided to provide nearly 100 bigha land for development of an affordable housing scheme for around 25,000 artisans near Naayla, the official added.
The Jaipur Central Jail is currently located in densely populated area at Ghatgate.
