The fourth phase polling in Bihar assembly elections ended today with over 57 per cent voter turnout. The high stakes battle of Bihar has the 'grand alliance' of chief minister Nitish Kumar-led Janata Dal United, Lalu Prasad's Rashtriya Janata Dal and the Congress pitted against the BJP and its allies. While Nitish Kumar seeks a straight third term, the BJP is hoping to repeat its national elections performance in the state with Prime Minister Narendra Modi as its star campaigner.
