Congress is yet to announce its first list of Lok Sabha candidates for Rajasthan.

Congress President Rahul Gandhi will be in Rajasthan today with an eye on the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Mr Gandhi began his tour from Suratgarh in Sriganganagar where he addressed a Jan Sankalp rally at the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium. He then visited Bundi near Kota around 3 pm for another rally. Mr Gandhi will finally address party booth level workers at the Ramleela Ground in Jaipur. The visit will be Mr Gandhi's third to Rajasthan since the state elections in December last year. The visit also holds importance after he announced a minimum income guarantee programme that will give up to Rs 72,000 a year or Rs 6,000 a month to 20 per cent of India's poorest families if voted back to power. Mr Gandhi's visit also holds significance as the Congress is yet to announce its first list of Lok Sabha candidates for Rajasthan, which is expected to be out after his visit.
